Extra Yachts, a brand of ISA Yachts, has announced the sale of the third unit in its Extra X96 Triplex series with the buyer introduced by Igor Cherentaev of Aberton Yachts.
The model, which was first unveiled at the Cannes Yachting Festival last year, features design by Francesco Guida in collaboration with Palumbo Superyachts while the interiors have been handled by Milan-based design studio Hot Lab.
The yacht is set to be delivered in 2022 and will join its sisterships Ohana and Anvilugi.
The Extra X96 Triplex can accommodate a total of 10 guests across five cabins with a master suite positioned forward on the main deck that spans the yacht’s 7.6 metre beam, which according to the shipyard is the largest in its size category.
Power comes from three Volvo Penta IPS engines for a maximum speed of 17.5 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots.
The Extra Yachts range now has three different lines: Fast, Loft and Triplex, the latter of which is described by the builder as a, “comfortable, spacious, refined boat, designed with no boundaries for fashion and technical solutions.”
News of the sale comes soon after the launch of the first Extra X96 Triplex, named Anvilugi, which hit the water earlier this year.
