Henri Lloyd launch #BlueAugust initiative

More than 8 million tons of plastic bottles are dumped into our oceans every year and it is estimated that by 2050 our oceans will contain more plastic by weight than fish.

Henri Lloyd have this week launched their #BlueAugust promotional campaign, to turn the tide on ocean plastic and support incredible charities offering practical solutions to pull plastic out of our oceans. This plastic can then be put back into the supply chain and made into long lasting, timeless, wearable products such as their recycled Mad Miv Series of garments.

Throughout Blue August, Henri Lloyd will be donating 10% of their online profits towards pioneers who are helping to clean up our oceans.

It is nice to see giants within the marine space helping in creating initiatives like this, with concerns over the future of our oceans continuing to grow.
