It’s been an exciting few months at Sanctuary Cove, with new restaurants and retailers opening across the board. There’s never been a better time to eat, drink and shop at Sanctuary Cove, so here is the low-down on who’s moved in and who you should be checking out during your next visit.
Destino Wine and Cocktail Bar is the new kid on the block, shaking insta-worthy cocktails that look as good as they taste! Their menu pays homage to a holiday on the Greek islands, which, in 2021, we are welcoming with open arms. Cocktails like a Mykonos Mule, Santorini Spritz and Destino Aperol Spritz will have you feeling like you’re far far away from after work drinks, and on a never ending vacation instead. Mediterranean flavours flow through to their food menu, offering tapas style share plates and charcuterie boards. The Destino team have sourced meats, cheeses and antipasti elements from all over the world, bringing you a deliciously authentic dining experience. Live music sets the tone every Saturday.
Rosé Gelateria offers over 24 flavours of creamy, artisan gelato. Immerse yourself in the dreamy blush and gold interior, while you indulge in traditional, dairy free and plant based flavours. Classics like chocolate hazelnut and zesty lemon will always be a winner, however if you’re keen to try something different, Italian pistachio, rock salt caramel and vegan mascarpone may tickle your fancy. The hardest decision won’t be which flavour you choose, or whether it’s in a cup or a cone, it’ll be what else you purchase, with shelves stocked with local wares from a number of Australian small businesses. Fresh bread and pastries, locally roasted coffee, naturally formulated tea and handmade confectionery will make your visit extra sweet. Rosé Gelareria’s menu of flavours and products is vast and constantly evolving, so be sure to pop in and see what’s on the scoop.
Next, fresh, flavourful and elevated Thai flavours have landed at Sanctuary Cove. Chim Thai is open 7 days a week, offering casual waterfront dining, takeaway and delivery.
